We are not as we used to be; much has changed within us.
Our hearts are weary, and our souls are exhausted, as if time has
taken more from us than it has given.
Our smiles are no longer as they were, and joy has become distant
from us,
Even sadness no longer shakes our hearts as it once did.
Our old conversations have lost their flavor, and our eagerness has
become a mirage.
We have become strangers to ourselves, not knowing where we are or
how we lost that familiarity.
Today we are farther from ourselves than ever, as if yesterday was
closer than we imagined.
Something has taken us far away, as if death has snatched our souls
and left our bodies wandering, estranged...
